ERS Valuation Services was formed in response to a growing need for immediate valuation of lost or damaged jewelry. We have developed a patent-pending online system consisting of a web-based application and an interactive, secure database. Our clients may now configure replacement cost instantly so the replacement/cash-out decision may be reached upon first contact from the insured. Our research indicates that the system will provide instant valuations for 85-90% of all jewelry items claimed. The remaining items will be highly customized jewelry requiring a manual valuation to protect both the company and the insured, or claims where the information available about the item is insufficient to make use of the system.

Our clients are able to configure the precious metals, gemstones, cut, color, clarity, carat size, and type of jewelry item (earring, ring, bridal set, etc.) instantly, and configure multiple items on a single quotation. The quotations are then held in a report database for later use by the agent or representative in handling any necessary followup. Invoicing for the service is available either through subscription service with unlimited use, or on a quote by quote basis with immediate email of the invoice to the individual entering the data.

This accurate, consistent and instant valuation system may be utilized separately or in conjunction with our replacement services. It only stands to reason that if we are providing a value, we stand behind it with our replacement service at the quoted price. We update the database as market conditions require, and estimate that savings and revenue combinations resulting from its use could result in millions of dollars of bottom line improvement for our clients.
